Good morning! Happy birthday mom hope you have an amazing day thinking about all the fun you just had on your cruise and a wonderful year and life a head . Thank you for always being the rock in the family and a mother bear to all. For always putting others first for always feeling our sadness crying when we cry laughing when we laugh and by our sides through every step of life . We love you so much 🥰😍

From Thomas:

Happy birthday mom!! To think you started it in another country and will finish it back in Canada! You’ve done and experienced so much, it’s truly amazing. A strong and supportive wife, a perfect mother. I couldn’t imagine growing up with someone who wasn’t so unselfish. Life was always about us kids, so i love seeing you do some things for yourself. Keep doing that :) So glad you and dad could share this trip together, and “many morreeeee”. Happy birthday mom! I love you

Before we left, Kathryn stopped by with some pre-gifts. It was a good thing since Sharon came home with another gift. She tested positive for COVID...when you have two lines it means you are positive.

From Lisa

What a horrible birthday gift. I am sorry, I wrote to you on line but I guess I did not press on send correctly as my message was never sent. As I went to send you a message just now, is when I realized it. Figured I'd write to you on the side. Here is a copy and past of my original message. Happy birthday to an incredible woman, mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. You are always thinking of others, making sure that everyone is well and healthy. Your love for family, fur babies and anyone in your life, is truly blessed. Your kind heart and beautiful soul captures all of our hearts. Thank you for being the amazing woman that you are. Can't wait to see you, so we can spoil you. Love you lots.

From Jasmine Tassé

Happy birthday grandma!!!🥳🎂 I’m not sure when you’ll see this because I’m camping and can’t get any service and I’m sorry we couldn’t make it to wish you in person and see you today. Thank you for being you and always being there for me, you will always have a special place in my heart💜. I love you so so much and I hope you have an amazing day! I miss you everyday and I can’t wait to see you soon. So Happy birthday to the best grandma anyone could ever ask for, have a good day. You deserve it.

Pregifts from Kathryn

These lovely flowers, Kathryn dropped off on our doorstep on the 21st...the day we got back home.

On 19 Sep Sharon and I headed to "La Cage – Brasserie sportive" in Gatineau to meet my mother and sister Pauline (Pierrette was still vacationing in Winnipeg this week)

Mom says...hey, don't forget the ballons!!

My sisters and mom got together for a gift

I found this picture funny....it's my sister trying "not" to be part of the picture and giving the floor to Sharon lol

Sharon with a 70's wine glass! Hey anyone who knows her knows that she is going to be using it for champagne! lol

To top it off, I recognize my mother of 93 who I love and am happy to celebrate many more birthdays with her.

And it continues....On 24th of September, my three kids got together, with their kids and some friends, to surprise Sharon on the Third Crossing. Sharon and I had intention to walk across the bridge on the 24th. It was open to people to visit and see what was being built. Our friends Wayne and Vickie came down (they were in the know about the surprise). So we organized a time (it depended on Matthew and family's ETA from Montreal). We began our walk and I sent pictures (which I normally do so nothing obvious there) to the kids to let them know we were starting our walk, and later where we were on the bridge. Once we were over half way over the bridge, Matthew texted me and said they were on the bridge walking. I texted Vickie (who was walking way ahead with Sharon) and asked her to turn around saying I had a sore hip and was stopping early. We began our walk back across the bridge in the direction we had just come from. Then without knowing.....the kids all started yelling "Happy Birthday". Sharon, as you can see in the pictures, we taken aback and happy. Tears flowed (you won't see that, but they were there).

So they sent a picture that they were leaving this morning from home...so far so good!

So here is me saying we are leaving and I have mom who is with Vicki. As a note, Wayne & Vicki drove down from Newcastle to be here for her birthday celebration.

Then I texted, we were on the bridge

He responded that they were all on the bridge looking for us

Love this picture...the family started singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY"

As long as she is not grabbing her heart in that she is having a heart attack...we're alright

Looking for someone to hug...her oldest son got the prize.

She finally let Matthew go

Jasmine said...Happy Birthday Grandma...

Jessika wanted in on the hugs

Sharon is happy to see Moca....

Kathryn and her mother

Then we started back home

Kathryn and Mike getting a photo opportunity

At the end of the bridge (our beginning) I took a picture and, of course I wasn't in it---so

Kathryn stopped a person and asked if they could take a group picture of all of us.

We slowly made our way back...so I thought a picture of our "backs" was appropriate lol

Then we made it home. Wayne looking over the situation and Thomas with the dog.

Arianna sending me kisses.

Jessika and Mike (her boyfriend)

These two 17 year olds were now Student drivers.

Thomas and Kathryn getting the meal ready for people

Matthew speaking with Forked tongue lol

Gavin dipping into the caesar salad

Arianna preparing her sandwich. As you notice, I took out the good cutlery lol

Wayne enjoying the day and Thomas overlooking

I was taking pictures of people around the house

As I turned to take pictures down the hall---

I notice Lisa taking pictures up the hall...

Thomas presenting mom with a Cherry Cheesecake for her birthday. I see Lisa most likely going ....ohhhhhhh loving it!!! hahaha

Mom looks so happy with her It's My 70th Birthday banner

That face is happiness

Vicki taking her own pictures

The official cutting of the cake

Off to the side, Thomas took control and Sharon got hugs

Outside a combined gift was going to be given. I just had to take this picture of Haily and Jasmine, good friends. Nice to have, nice to see.

Arianna did the presentation for the group

Sharon is officially 7 x 10's

Sharon seemed to be opening it was great care...the bomb squad would be proud.

When people in the olden days got gold as a gift, they always bite it to see if it was real...I wonder if Matthew was biting this Michael Kors purse to see if it was real?

The fashion queen!

Vicki and Wayne were gone but Sharon opened their gift. Thank you.

Then "Brother's Inc" took on the task of installing my outdoor Nest Camera.

A happy mother hugging her son

Student Driver at the wheel.

Sangeeta stopped by (she was away at the time) on 24 Sep and gave me innovative cards and a cake (sorry, we ate the cake, no picture)
